Gallery Sitting

Our Exhibition programme is at the heart of our community art centre. The scope and diversity of the exhibitions we show - always free and open to all, 5 days a week - is made possible by the commitment and support from our dedicated volunteers. Thank you to all who give their time to sit at the gallery desk and welcome visitors to the exhibitions.

We are looking for Volunteers to help this coming Exhibition season at the Gallery Desk.

The exhibitions are open 10am - 5 pm Wednesday to Sunday from 22nd March until 23rd October 2025.

Would you like to be part of the team who sit the Exhibitions? This could be as little commitment as three hours a month, or a more regular weekly slot. Or perhaps you would be interested to join the volunteers list for occasional sitting, when there is a gap in the rota and you are able to fill in?

Shifts are: mornings 10am - 1.30pm or Afternoons 2 - 5pm, or all day , Wednesday to Sunday.

The role would be responsible for opening up and welcoming visitors to the gallery, providing information as needed and being a welcoming and friendly face.

We run-

Garden Club - working in the grounds and garden of An Talla Solais though the Spring ad summer months .

The Dolphin Arts - A creative programme supporting people in Ullapool living with a diagnosis of dementia and their families.
